I’m studying Human Computer Interaction at Manchester Metropolian; although this is the name of the unit, it’s core focus and elements are on User Experience and Interaction Design (UX-ID). Covering the psychology that sheds light on the benefits and success of good UX-ID is very exciting; looking into the evidence and studies to discover this insight will be an interesting journey. This work will also highlight about the importance of the end users and the considerations for their needs; accommodating for different skill levels, backgrounds and abilities.

In discussion and consideration on the Ethics concerned with applying or not applying the UX-ID for the benefit of the user, will be a hunt for cruel examples of ‘Dark Patterns’ which use UX-ID to trick and deceive the user; it’s a disgrace.

On a happier note looking into design the promotes collaboration and teamwork is also an element of the cirriculum.
