The Auto Trader insight Day last week was an amazing opportunity and I am so immensely glad I took it! We got to hear about their graduate scheme from the graduates finishing their 2 years and find out all the really cool challenges they tackled as a team. Their scheme is not just having a taster of all the roles it’s being integrated into a team, doing real work while also growing and developing skills through different activities with the other graduates. We then got a full tour of their Manchester office from their current graduates on the scheme and talk to them. After having lunch we got into a workshop where we learnt about the differences between Agile, SCRUM and Waterfall and had a Q&A session with one of their teams. Since then I have added all the people I met that day on LinkedIn and they have responded with such inspirational encouragement. One of the graduates has been so epically kind enough to organise a day for me to go in and shadow herself as a dev and a designer from her area. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to apply next March
